Why She’s Avoiding The Red Carpet

Which rising starlet shuns red carpets these days because she doesn’t want to be asked about her relationship with that TV star?

(And that’s too bad since I have some definite questions about it.)

Let’s talk about a really awful young couple that stunk up the red carpets last year!

The rising starlet is Emma Roberts, and the TV star is Chord Overstreet from Glee. Emma Roberts dating Chord Overstreeet was one of the worst ideas ever. It started out with a drunken makeout session at an industry party, whined and cried and fought its way into the tabloids, and then died a passive aggressive death with each of their respective groups of friends bad-mouthing the other to the media. What a mess.

These two kids, who are both young actors, just couldn’t pull off this ridiculous relationship.  After the first fifteen minutes as a couple, Emma couldn’t even stand being around Chord, never mind having the media ask questions about their relationship.

The two were so completely awkward and nasty together that they both wanted out early on. However, their publicists simply  loved the idea of a Glee star dating Julia Robert’s niece, and begged them to get back together, which they did for a few more miserable months.

Before they officially called it quits, Emma Roberts did everything possible to ice out Chord Overstreet, multiple insiders tells Us Weekly.

“Emma told Chord he didn’t need to spend New Year’s with her. It was just her and her girlfriends, a tradition she always does,” one source says. “Emma is pretty difficult to be in a relationship with.”

The 20-year-old Art of Getting By actress had been belittling Overstreet for months, another source says. “Emma calls him Chord — pronounced like chair — to his face,” a source told Us in November. “She acts like he’s really dumb.”

Things came to a head at Golden Globes after-party January 15, a third insider tells Us. “Chord was waiting outside the CAA party at Sunset Tower waiting for Emma to come get him at the door.”

When Roberts ignored Overstreet’s text messages, he was overheard saying, “Emma does this all the time when she doesn’t want to see me.”

Glee’s Overstreet, 22, never made it inside the party — and Roberts was seen “crying and noticeably upset,” the third insider says. “Clearly they had a fight about her not coming out to get him.”

A fourth source close to the couple adds that Overstreet “is so nice and was such a good boyfriend. . .He was always so sweet.” On the other hand, a fifth source insists: “Chord was controlling and always wanted to know where she was at all times. Emma’s career is very important to her, but Chord wanted it to be all about him. She’s too young to be able to give someone that kind of commitment.”

The two stars were first spotted making out in April 2011 at the A|X Armani Exchange and 944 Magazine carnival in Indio, Calif.

“They’re both young kids, they had crushes on each other but the relationship ran its course,” a sixth insider tells Us of their breakup. “She isn’t and wasn’t looking for a serious thing.”

We think it’s humorous that Us Magazine quotes half a dozen different sources in their story, some clearly her friends, some clearly his.

Chord Overstreet is actually a pretty nice guy, but Emma Roberts is a spoiled, nasty piece of work. Pretty on the outside, ugly on the inside.Perhaps it runs in the family.

Chord Overstreet went on to date actress Lily Collins.They broke up after they couldn’t decide whether they should spend their time together plucking her eyebrows or Chapsticking his gigantic trout pout.

Emma Roberts moved on to actor Evan Peters, with whom she enjoys a nice, steady, drama-free relationship. Oh, wait. Scratch that last bit.

Engaged Doesn’t Mean Committed

This young celebrity couple’s status is not what it appears to be. A recent event indicates that, despite a very nice engagement ring, they are not committed to each other.

She came to visit him on the Canadian set of one of his upcoming films a couple of weeks ago. That night, they attended a party at a local pub, seemed to be in good spirits, and seemed to be together. However, by the end of the night, she was nowhere to be found… and our actor was making out with a very attractive, long-haired female party guest!

Perhaps engagement rings don’t represent quite the level of commitment that they used to?

While this couple just officially broke up, they had been having problems since February, as Miley recently recounted in the song “Drive”.

Miley Cyrus recently opened up about her new breakup song, “Drive,” which reportedly alludes to her relationship with her ex-fiance, Liam Hemsworth.

The 20-year-old pop singer appears on the cover of the November issue of FASHION magazine, photographed at a private estate in the Hollywood Hills. In the candid cover interview, she revealed that “Drive,” a track off her upcoming album, “BANGERZ,” is a song about heartache.

“I wrote it while I was working on Valentine’s Day — emotionally it was such a hard time,” Cyrus told the magazine. “It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It’s a time when you want to leave but you can’t. It’s also about moving on.”

FASHION notes that the song refers to her split from Hemsworth, whom she met on the set of “The Last Song” back in 2009 and got engaged to last year. The two confirmed they had broken up on Sept. 16.

Although Miley is clearly a passionate and expressive person, she kept her word to Liam in the last few months of the relationship. She showed up for Liam’s events (including his big movie premiere), she kept it together for the cameras, and she didn’t allow herself to be photographed with potential love interests.

Liam, on the other hand, wasn’t quite as mature. He didn’t show up for Miley’s VMA performance, and he wasn’t there for her album premiere as he had promised. He was also much less discreet in his flirtations, was openly linked to January Jones and actress Eiza Gonzalez, and hooked up with multiple random girls at clubs and parties (including the one in Canada that we described in the blind item).

Say what you want about Miley’s radical looks, fashion, behavior, and outrageous showmanship… but you have to give her props for keeping her word during the last few months of this relationship.

Congrats to Mrs Darcy, who was the first to guess this one correctly! And congrats to all of you who identified Miley’s engagement ring from jeweler Neil Lane in the photo. Yes, she gets to keep it!

If there is one thing that publicists never tire of, it’s a staged photo.

Now, we’re not talking about the typical photo of a fake couple on the red carpet, or walking down the street holding hands, or sharing a meal at a public restaurant.

No, the best staged photos aren’t taken in public. The best ones replicate private moments, the ones that you aren’t supposed to see! They are meant to tell a secret story, one where the viewer fantasizes about what happens next.

A good example of this is a photo of a young male star on the floor, entangled with his girlfriend in a loving and “spontaneous” embrace. Of course, everybody has their clothes on, and their faces are cleverly obscured, but the publicists know that you will figure out who this clandestine couple is based on his tattoo… and what comes next based on their position.

Are you buying the hetero image they are trying to give him? Well, you shouldn’t. Because the girl in the photo isn’t the true love of his life.

Mongoliska dödsmasken

Den mongoliska dödsmasken är en ormliknande varelse som sägs finnas i Gobiöknen. Generellt anses den tillhöra kryptozoologi, eftersom man ifrågasätter rapporter och vad människor vittnat.

Masken beskrivs som en fet, ljusröd orm, som ska vara två till fyra meter lång. Det lokala namnet är allghoi (eller orghoi),khorkhoi (xopxoй) som betyder "blodfylld tarmmask" på grund av att den ska se ut som en ko-tarm. Det finns ett antal rapporter av de lokala mongolerna, att masken skulle ha egenskaper som att spy upp ett gult gift som är dödligt, och att den kan döda på avstånd genom att använda sig av en elektrisk stöt. Men det finns inga vittnen som är trovärdiga. Vissa tror att varelsen egentligen är en reptil på grund av det torra klimatet.

Gul färg sägs attrahera masken.

Den ledande vetenskapsmannen om varelsen är den tjeckiske författaren Ivan Mackerle. Loren Coleman var den första som nämnde masken i boken Cryptozoology A to Z. En expedition skickades ut under 2005 för att undersöka nya rapporter. De fann inga bevis på dess existens, men de tror att det är möjligt för en sådan varelse att finnas djupt in i Gobiöknen vid de avstängda områdena vid den Kines-Mongolska gränsen.

Den senaste expeditionen skickades ut i 2006-2007 av reality TV-serien "Destination Truth" ("Destination: Sanning"), som produceras av bröderna Mandt.

Almas

Almas är en mystisk människoliknande varelse som påstås ha observerats i bland annat Mongoliet, Altajbergen och Pamir. Även i Kaukasus finns rapporter om att Almas har observerats. Varelsen ska enligt vissa observationer ha stora likheter med den berömda Yetin (Den förfärlige snömannen) som påstås leva i Himalaya. Men enligt majoriteten av de rapporterade onservationenerna (som går hundratals år tillbaka) ska Almas vara mycket mer lik moderna människor än Yetin. En teori går ut på att Almas kan vara en rest av Neanderthalmänniskorna.

Några konkreta bevis på att Almas verkligen existerar saknas helt och de flesta forskare avvisar observationerna som rena påhitt eller folksägner.
