British actor Orlando Bloom and Australian fashion model Miranda Kerr just announced that they have separated after three years of marriage.

No big surprise there. This marriage has been a mess for a long time. Let’s talk about it in true BG fashion!

Miranda Kerr is a Victoria’s Secret Model. Prior to marrying actor Orlando Bloom, she dated musician Jay Lyon from the Australian band Tamarama from 2003-2007. While Lyon isn’t famous outside of Australia, you might remember him as the boyfriend of Whitney Port in the short-loved “reality” series The City.

Kerr thought she was trading up big time with Orlando Bloom in 2007. However, neither of them has a good track record of being faithful. They married in 2010. They had one child together, a boy named Flynn, in 2011.

Yes, Orlando Bloom is the father… or is he?

Just kidding. Bloom is the father. Probably.

They were both playing around during the marriage. Predictably, that caused a lot of conflict.

In late 2012/early 2013, Kerr started seeing actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Another big trade up! We told you about this affair in January of this year.

Yes, Leonardo DiCaprio loves his models! However, he likes them one after the other after the other. If Miranda Kerr thought she was going to be Miranda DiCaprio, she thought wrong! We told you that he was going to throw Kerr back into the ocean, and he did. DiCaprio moved on to the next model in the blink of an eye.

Bloom – who was friends with DiCaprio – was absolutely furious when he found out that DiCaprio was having an affair with his wife! After that affair, the marriage was completely over, and the couple separated earlier this year. They just announced that they are throwing in the towel. No big surprise there.

Did you catch the Leonardo DiCaprio clues? “Bigger”, “fish on”, “catch and release”, and “overboard” should have led you to a big ship in the ocean =Titanic, that little indy flick that made Leo a star. “Catch and release” could have also led you to Catch Me If You Can, another DiCaprio classic. Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are no longer. [sic]

Sources tell me the couple has split after three years of marriage.

A rep for Bloom exclusively confirms the breakup. “In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months,” the rep said in a statement. “After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation.”

The statement continued, “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”

The 36-year-old British actor and the 30-year-old Australian Victoria’s Secret model began dating in 2007. They were married in July 2010 after announcing their engagment just a month beforehand.

Kerr gave birth to their son, Flynn, on Jan. 6, 2011.

She and Bloom were last photographed together by the paparazzi on Oct. 8. Their last public appearance was at the opening of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway on Sept. 19. Bloom is currently starring in the production with Condola Rashad.

Miranda Kerr has always been quite the flirt, but BG knows that she’s taken things beyond flirting many times. In fact, she may even be the subject of a BG blind. Or two. Or three.

So Kim Kardasian and Kanye West just got engaged. Whoopie.

This is the first marriage for Kanye, but the third marriage for Kim. Yes, she is that much closer to her goal of beating Elizabeth Taylor’s record!

Have you noticed that Kim is trotting out the jewels and the tight dresses and the furs once again? Yes, she is channeling Elizabeth Taylor (in her own mind). You can’t even tell where one ends and the other begins (Shhhh! Just play along.)

Just so you know, the last marriage ate up a lot more time than Kim had planned. The original blind item was written two years ago. Kimmy thought she was going to be able to zip in and out of that marriage to Kris Humphries in no time flat.

Well, Hump Day Humphries didn’t get the memo that he was supposed to be a reality show prop for the wedding, and then just roll over for the divorce. If he had truly cared one iota about Kim, he would have allowed himself to be engaged, married, and divorced in the six months he was allotted! Instead, he draaaagged out that divorce for a good long time… and even took the ring back (Elizabeth would have never let that happen!). What a selfish guy!

At least Kanye is in the sprint with her. It’s all out of sequence, but who cares? She was still married to Kris when she started dating Kanye and got pregnant by him. But after the divorce went through, she was cleared for takeoff once again!

While Elizabeth Taylor would have never gotten engaged at AT&T Park – or any ballpark for that matter – congratulations to our classy couple, Kim and Kanye! Let’s see how fast Kim can zip this one through the turnstile. By our calculations, her reality fame clock is ticking down, and she needs to get at least one more marriage and baby under her belt before she turns 35!

The cast of Glee is in shock over the passing of their colleague and friend, Cory Monteith. One specific cast member was walking around a store in SoHo yesterday with three friends, talking about how they would like to honor Cory.

“I’m going to get a dog. And I’m going to name him ‘Cory Monteith’,” said the Glee cast member.

“That would be disrespectful,” said one of the friends.

“No, it’s not! It would be cool! That way, whenever I talk to him, it will be like having Cory around. Come here, Cory Monteith! Get the ball, Cory Monteith!”

“That’s an incredibly stupid idea,” said another friend.
